MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A Hickory Hill family barely escaped bullets as shots rang out through their home Wednesday night.

Around 9:00 p.m. three bullets pierced the front window of a woman's home as she, her husband, daughter, and grandson were all inside. They asked to not be identified for their safety.

"I don't want to accuse anyone, but someone was trying to hurt me," the woman said.

The bullets damaged her television.

This is not the first time bullets have flown at her home. Three years ago, someone shot up her cars. Thankfully in both instances nobody was hurt.

"I can't go in the back. I can't go in the front because I might get shot," she said.

The woman said she has added security cameras inside her home, and is now planning on putting them outside as well.

The woman and her family are also thinking about moving from the neighborhood. She believes a greater police presence could make her community safe again.

Police continue to investigate who is responsible for this shooting.
