NASHVILLE, TN (WMC) -

A caregiver is charged with his patient's murder after the man died in his care, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

On October 28, 2015, 30-year-old Weekly Sainvil was taken to the hospital and was pronounced dead moments after arrival.

On October 29, 2015 Medicaid Fraud Control Unit Special Agents, the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department and the Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities opened an investigation into the death of Sainvil.

Officials stated that Sainvil is developmentally disabled. TBI officials stated 52-year-old David Wiltz was employed by Restoration Residential Services at that time to give in-home care to Sainvil.

Investigators stated that an autopsy determined the manner of death was a homicide caused by blunt force neck injuries.

Wiltz is charged with one count of second-degree murder. He was booked in jail on a $25,000 bond.
