MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Two men admitted to planning and executing a robbery against one of their own grandfathers.

Jaquan Bell, 20, lived with his grandfather his entire life. That didn't stop him from planning the robbery with 18-year-old Quintell Everhart. The two men admitted to taking $3,000 from Bell's grandfather as he tried to fight them off.

Investigators say Bell had $400 of his grandfather's money on him when he was arrested. He is charged with elder abuse and robbery.

Everhart told police that Bell asked him to participate. He is charged with aggravated burglary and robbery.

Both men will be arraigned on Monday.
