Nearly 1,000 people exposed to measles during 2016 outbreak

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

If no new cases of measles happen, the 2016 outbreak in Shelby County will come to an end June 20, according to Shelby County Health Department.

Since April 5, seven people in Memphis contracted the Measles- exposing 934 people. Shelby County Health Department said it quarantined or monitored 36 people who were exposed to the virus.
