A man and a 17-year-old are accused of stealing hundreds of dollars worth of beer from a delivery truck.

Fifteen cases of beer were stolen from a Budweiser delivery truck parked outside a business on South Third Street on May 11.

A few days later, on May 17, 20 cases of beer were stolen from another Budweiser delivery truck. The suspect's vehicle was caught on surveillance camera, and investigators identified the driver as Winston Rucker. A 17-year-old was also in the car.

Police said Rucker and the teenager followed the delivery trucks to their destination, and when the driver made the delivery, the defendants would steal cases of beer.

Additionally, Rucker did not have a valid registration for his car and was driving on a suspended license.

Rucker is charged with theft of property over $500, theft of property under $500, driving on a suspended license, burglary from a motor vehicle, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
