Memphis police are looking for three men who robbed a Citgo gas station. The frightening armed robbery was caught on surveillance video.

The robbery happened at Citgo in the 3400 block of Covington Pike on Sunday.

"I was just scared," Citgo store clerk Raj Kandadi said. "I sat down on the floor."

Police released the following surveillance video which shows two of the three men police are trying to identify:

According to police, the first man entered the business acting like a customer. The second man entered the store and immediately approached/jumped on the counter and pointed a gun at Kandadi.

Kandadi said he didn't know what to think when the man put a gun in his face. The suspect wearing work gloves jumped over the counter and began putting the drawers on the counter. The man with the wig took the money out of the drawers.

"When he came in here, I didn't realize [that it was a robbery]," Kandadi said. "He cursed and he jumped over the counter. He ask me to open the drawer."

Police said the first man then approached the counter with a gun and helped the second man take money from the register. A third man walked around outside before entering the store. Once inside, he blocked the door to keep anyone from interfering.

Kandadi said someone he thought was a woman walked into the store.

"She walked over to the beer cooler," Kandadi said.

Police said that was not a woman. It was a man wearing a long wig and sunglasses pretending to be a customer.

After taking the money, all three men left the store. The men got away with $800.

If you can help police identify any of the men, call Memphis Police Department at 901-545-2677(COPS).
