MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

After Global Ministries Foundation and LEDIC Management lost control over Warren and Tulane apartments because of continued problems with disrepair and rodents, the apartments are now under new oversight.

A federal judge named Foresite Realty Management to oversee the apartments.

However, the new oversight does not prevent residents from losing their homes.

In February, rent subsidies were stopped for the two properties. As a result, more than 1,000 residents will be forced to move this summer.

In 2015, Memphis police were called to the Tulane apartments 756 times. They were called to Warren apartments 401 times.

Residents said they are concerned about finding a new place to live, but they're looking forward to a cleaner and safer home.
