'Memphis Does Prince' to honor music legend, benefit St. Jude patients

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

The Bluff City will pay tribute to musical icon Prince, all while benefiting the children and their families at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Next month, Minglewood Hall will present "Memphis Does Prince," a show with an all-star cast of Memphis' best musicians who will pay tribute to the late great music icon.

The money raised will go to St. Jude to help make sure their patients are not troubled by the financial burden of medical care.

Organizers said the event is for all ages. It’s set for Friday, June 10. Doors will open at 7 p.m. The show starts at 8 p.m., featuring acts like Graham Winchester & The Ammunition, The Incredible Hook, Southern Avenue, Clay Otis, Chinese Connection Dub Embassy, and The Candy Company.
