MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

The search is on for a man who shot someone outside a Burger King in Memphis.

The shooting happened around 3 p.m. at the Burger King in the 6400 block of East Shelby Drive.

Witnesses said two men were arguing inside the Burger King. One of the men pulled out a gun and started shooting after the men exited the fast food restaurant.

"I heard shots. I didn't know what I was going to do," Fernando Salazar said. "I was shocked. I don't see this a lot around here, and I've been here at least 1-2 years and I haven't seen anything like this."

Memphis Police Department has not released the condition of the man who was shot.

Officers did say they were searching for a black Chrysler 300. They believe the shooter drove away from the restaurant in that vehicle.

The Burger King has since reopened.
