The American Athletic Conference will have a couple more players representing in the NFL, thanks to Defense Secretary Aston Carter.
Carter said former Navy quarterback Keenan Reynolds and fullback Chris Swain can defer their military service to play professionally.
He made the announcement during his graduation speech to the academy in Annapolis.
Reynolds was drafted in the sixth round by the Baltimore Ravens.
