MPD search for man accused of robbing 2 Taco Bells, Mapco

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Memphis police are searching for a man accused of robbing two Taco Bell restaurants and a Mapco.

Police said the man walked up to the drive thru window of Taco Bell on South B.B. King Boulevard and demanded money from the register on May 14. They said the suspect got impatient and grabbed money from the register.

Then, police said the man went to the drive thru window of Taco Bell on Elvis Presley Boulevard on May 27 and demanded money. Police said he threatened to shoot the employee before he grabbed money from the counter and ran.

On May 29, the man is accused of entering Mapco on Park Avenue with one hand behind his back. Here, police said the man said, “Do you want me to show you what I got?” and demanded money.

The man is described as a black male in his late 30s or early 30s, standing 5’6 or 5’7.
