Indiana man makes GoFundMe so racists can send him back to Africa

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Usually when someone creates a GoFundMe, the person's friends and family are the ones that donate money. However, a man from Indiana is trying to get racists to fund his trip to go "back" to Africa.

Larry Mitchell from Kokomo, Indiana, created a GoFundMe to make his dream come true of visiting Africa, and he wants racists to help fund his trip.

In his bio, he says, "Send me "back" to Africa fund... If you want me to go back to Africa I will gladly go... you can help make your dream and mine come true... accepting all donations... KKK, Skin Heads and anyone else with like mind thinking are welcome to donate... Thank you.. God bless you and America... #putyourmoneywhereyourhateis".

So far, over 50 people have donated almost $800 to the GoFundMe, but most of the people who donated money are not the "racists" Mitchell thought would donate.

Many of the donors thought that Mitchell's page was funny and are donating money just to help Mitchell make his dream come true.

A donor under the username Carla T. posted, "Mr. Mitchell, I am not donating out of hate, or to send you away. But I am donating because I just spent a month traveling through Africa, and found the most wonderful, loving, warm and generous humans I have ever met. I wish you the best making your dreams come true, and I hope that you find goodwill here in the US, as well."

Some of the donations were given were not under nice circumstances.

A donor under the username "fedup whiteguy" gave $45 to the GoFundMe and posted, "you better not come back".
