MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Shelby County Health Department issued a Code Orange Advisory for the Memphis area on Sunday.
The advisory includes Shelby County, Crittenden County, and DeSoto County.
Code Orange Advisory means ozone levels could exceed the eight-hour National Ambient Air Quality Standards.
This means people with respiratory difficulties should avoid prolonged outdoor activities.
MATA buses and trolley fares will be discounted Sunday to allow people to avoid walks.
