MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - Memphis police are looking for a man who plowed an Audi A4 into a group of motorcycles on Summer Avenue, then jumped into another man's car to get away.
It happened Saturday night on Summer near Stratford Road. The Audi rear-ended the Honda VTX motorcycle in the middle lane of the street, sending the bike and its rider flipping. The Honda then slammed into a Harley Davidson Road King. Both are cruiser-type street motorcycles. That's when witnesses say the driver who caused it all got into another vehicle and took off.
The Honda rider and a passenger both went to Regional Medical Center in non-critical condition. The Harley rider went to Baptist East, also in non-critical condition.
Friends of the victims posted on social media that the riders were in a group at a red light when the driver plowed into them. One of the riders has a head injury that's still being checked out and a good case of road rash on his back. A female rider, according to the posts has a broken arm, a cut on the back of her head and an injury to her abdomen.
