MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) - When a Memphis man's motorcycle was stolen, he didn't wait for someone else to solve the crime. He tracked down his bike and the alleged thieves himself.

Gregory Seelig reported his 2005 custom motorcycle stolen on July 17. A few days later, he called police and told them he'd tracked the bike down.

He found the motorcycle at a house in a neighborhood south of the University of Memphis campus. He told police the bike was behind the house.

When police answered the call, they said they found the bike and two men working on it.

Dale Stowell lives at the address. He and James Marshall were both arrested. But both denied stealing it. Both are charged with theft of property.
