Police are issuing a warning for people using a popular Memphis Greenline to be looking for a man who exposed himself to at least one woman along the trail.

During the day, the V and E Greenline is a home to bikers and joggers. But, the people in a nearby neighborhood are now worried after someone spotted a man exposing himself in broad daylight.

"After a few seconds, I realized what I was seeing," one witness said.

While walking her dog down Crump Avenue, the neighbor said she saw a man showing more than she wanted to see.

"There was a man with his pants down and it looked like he was touching himself," she said.

She went home and called the police. She also warned her neighbors on the Nextdoor app.

The V and E Greenline stretches for almost two miles and it's a trail Jamie Sanford uses to get to work.

"It's usually people running or walking their dogs," Sanford said.

He said this is the first time he has heard of a thing like this happening.

"When I hear about things like that, it makes me wonder," he said.

Neighbors are hoping the man is caught and it will keep it from happening again.

"It's alarming, because you don't know what other type of things are going on," the witness said.

After neighbors contacted the police, officers drove through the neighborhood but the man was not caught.

If you have any information, you are asked to call the Memphis Police Department.
