How to Ride in the Street

Confession: I don't know how to ride a bike. I have a bike, and I've had many people offer to help me learn how to ride it, but it's just never happened (hence, the premise for the short film I just completed). But if I did know how to ride a bike, I imagine I'd have a lot of questions about how to safely ride in the street. That's where Revolutions Co-Op comes in. They'll go over what to do if the bike lane disappears, where should you ride when there's no bike lane, whether to ride on the sidewalk, and other questions. Plus, field trips!

The four week class starts Sunday at 2 p.m. and costs $80, which includes a bike, a helmet, and lock.

Ninth Annual Forrest Spence Fund 5k

The whole family can get ready to run at the Ninth Annual Forrest Spence 5k! Runs include a 100 yard dash for kids 8 and under, a 1 mile fun run for kids 12 and under, and of course, the 5k race. There will be games, bounce houses, slides, food, prizes, and more.
