Want an excuse to get out and ride this weekend in the Mid-South? There is no shortage of biker events this weekend, and the focus will be on showing support for police and first responders.

The Lawful Sons Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club is having its first ever poker run on Saturday. The event is a fundraiser to help build a First Responders Monument in Bartlett. There will be a free breakfast at Bumpus Harley Davidson on Whitten Road, and the first bike leaves at 11:00 a.m.. Last bike will come in at 4:00 p.m. for an auction and other events. You can find more on the ride here.

The Christian Motorcyclist Association is rallying bikers in North Mississippi to show support for police. Kickstands up at 10:00 a.m. from Southern Thunder Harley Davidson in Southaven. This ride is free and solely to honor law enforcement. The ride will circle North Mississippi and riders will make stops to pray with police. All of the information is on the organizers' Facebook event page. Just click here.

There are several other events this weekend in the Mid-South. Just scroll through the flyers pictured in this story for more on those.
