A painting by a Memphis artist is now part of President Barack Obama's collection.

In May 2016, Williams' painting 'Winter Wonderland' won second place in an international art competition. The painting appeared in the 2016 American Printing House for the Blind art calendar.

Williams sent that painting and a painting from his mother to President Obama.

The president accepted the gift and replied to Williams with this letter.
