As flood waters in Louisiana recede, more than 3,000 people are homeless and living in shelters.

Families that lost their homes need basic household items and necessities to start rebuilding their lives.  That's where Southaven RV & Marine comes in.

Southaven RV & Marine's CEO Mark Hixson asked the Mid-South to show some love to our Louisiana neighbors.

Hixson said an 18-wheeler is in front of their showroom, ready to be filled with donations from the Mid-South.

"We are calling on the entire Mid-South to come over and help us fill it! One item or 20 would be equally appreciated–let’s do something for our neighbors!” said Hixson.
