MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A new rendering shows what the renovated Tennessee Brewery building will look like.

The picture comes from Looney Ricks Kiss architecture firm. Fogelman Management is handling the leasing process.

Tennessee Brewery open in the mid-1800s and closed in 1954. It resurfaced to house a scrap metal business for a few years, but then sat empty for decades until Mayor A C Wharton's Innovation Team took up the challenge of revitalizing the building.

Now, the old Tennessee Brewery building is being renovated into four different structures that will house 150 new Downtown apartments as well as 15,000 sq. ft. of commercial and office space.
