MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Memphis police are looking for two women suspected of using a box cutter to rob at a man at a Lamar Avenue gas station.

The victim called police around 5 a.m. Sunday and said he had been stabbed at the Valero station in the 1200 block of Lamar Avenue.

The man told investigations he met both women while leaving Raiford's Night Club and got in their vehicle. The women stopped at the gas station and asked him to buy fuel for their car.

The victim told police his debit card was declined, and he was attacked when he got back in the car. He said he wrestled with the women and was able to get out of the car, but his phone and debit card were gone.

The man said he asked the women to return his property, but they took off. Police released photos of the women using the victim's card minutes later at an ATM at Iberia Bank on Union Avenue.

If you recognize the women, call Crime Stoppers at 901-528-CASH.
