Good Tuesday morning!

The Memphis City Council is set to discuss the proposed marijuana ordinance today. DA Amy Weirich says she is not sure that the ordinance would trump state law.  She also points out that most marijuana offenders already only receive a citation under the law. We'll discuss both sides of the issue this morning.

Today the Moonraker at the Delta Fair will be inspected following this weekend's accident. This could determine the fate of the ride. Changes have been made to the ride across the country. We have updates this morning on WMC.

A 6-year-old student at Grahamwood showed up to school with his injuries.  The principal even got involved and called police. The uncle was arrested and charged with child abuse. We'll explain the details of the case this morning.    

A man's clothes and car were snatched while he showered at the gym. Some quick thinking people helped police find what was stolen. Details this morning on WMC.

Search crews fear a man from Memphis drowned in Alabama. Rescuers have been out on the Tennessee River which runs near the state line in Alabama. We have an update on the search.
