Two men are behind bars, accused of torturing another man over drugs.

According to the police report, the victim was near the intersection of Summer Avenue and Sycamore View Road when he saw a vehicle with the lights off. Several men got out of the car and came towards him, holding a noose. They put the noose around the victim's neck and forced him into the car, then strangled and kicked him until he lost consciousness.

When he woke up, a man he knows as "Blake" told him that if he said where "the dope" was, he would not kill him. The group then drove him to a nearby house, forced him inside, and hogtied him. They then took off all his clothes.

According to the affidavit, "Blake," a man known as "G," a man known as "L.G.," and a man known as "Gage" then tortured the victim for hours.

The victim later identified one of the suspects, 21-year-old Gage Caulk, as a man he knew as "Gage."

Caulk was arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder and especially aggravated kidnapping.

Hours later, a second arrest was made. John Richardson, also known as "L.G.," was also arrested and charged with attempted first-degree murder and especially aggravated kidnapping.

Caulk’s sister said she believes drugs pushed him to do this.

“We had a feeling that something would eventually happen, but never in a million years did we expect this to happen,” she said. “Very, very sorry for the victim and what they went through.”

Police said the torture went on for hours before the men abandoned the victim on a gravel road where a passerby found him and took him to the hospital.

“The only thing I can say is that drugs took over his brain, because that's not Gage; that’s not the Gage we know,” his sister said. “I wish he would get it together, but it looks like this may be what it takes.”

Police are still searching for the other suspects involved in the case.
