Good morning and happy Friday!

Former Grizzlies Head Chef Chris Beavers will be opening his own restaurant soon called Best Friends Grill.  The focus here will be on tailgating and some tips and tricks everyone at home can use while at the tailgate. Join us for a live report this morning.

We will be live outside the Liberty bowl talking all things Southern Heritage Classic this morning. We have all kinds of angles and stories this morning. One involves Ed "Too Tall" Jones a former pro football player and Tennessee State star, Jones hosts a Golf Classic every year.  He can really explain what's so important about the two schools coming together in Memphis.   

We are seeing more and more robberies of weave shops across Memphis. Police this morning are asking for your help in finding some women who stole more than $1300 worth of Peruvian hair weave from a shop here in Memphis. We'll show pictures this morning.

A final decision on what will be done with the birthplace of Aretha Franklin has not been made. We'll talk about the back and forth this morning on WMC.
