Southern elegance is the theme behind a new luxury hotel that will open this fall in Oxford, Mississippi.

Reservations are already being accepted at The Chancellor's House.

The luxury hotel is just steps away from the historic Oxford Square on the corner of University and Lamar. More than 100 jobs are available as the 13-suite and 18-room hotel gets ready to open.

According to the hotel’s website, in-room amenities include butler and maid services, complimentary shoe shine service, Keurig coffee maker and a private balcony. Rooms can cost from $285 to $575 per night.

At Chancellor’s House, pets are welcomed. Any breed of dog under 35 pounds can stay at the hotel. Owners can get assistance from the staff with everything from dog-walking to suggestions of nearby dog parks. Each furry guest receives a nameplate to uses and take home, a mahogany pet carrier for use in the hotel room. Pet owners will have to pay a pet deposit if the animal is staying in the hotel.
