TIPTON COUNTY, TN (WMC) -

A Tipton County 16-year-old is missing and could be in danger.

Tipton County Sheriff's Office said Kinlee Quesenberry went missing September 11 around 5 p.m.

Deputies from Tipton and Shelby Counties have been working together, following up leads in the investigation.

Deputies said the teen's father, 35-year-old Donald "Bruce" Quesenberry Jr., may have taken Kinlee.

The father set up a GoFundMe account to finance his trip from Illinois to western Tennessee. He's a fugitive with an active warrant for contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Investigators said he has relatives in Tipton and Shelby Counties. They believe he may be hiding out and eluding authorities with his daughter.

“We will continue to use every resource available to locate Kinlee and return her home safely.  Our investigation has led us to Shelby County but they could be anywhere. We need the community’s assistance in locating Quesenberry Jr. and his daughter," Sheriff J.T. "Pancho" Chumley said.
