MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

The Tigers football team is rolling along, now 2-0 after Saturday's 43-7 shellacking of Kansas at the Liberty Bowl.

It's good enough to get Memphis four votes in the Coaches poll, tied with Kansas State and Maryland..

It also helps spotlight the play of receiver Anthony Miller.

The former CBHS star has 169 total yards, including an 84-yard touchdown catch and run.

It earns Miller a spot on this week's American Athletic Conference Honor Roll.

"It, makes feel like I've come a long way. Former walk-on, y'know, not many people get this opportunity. So I'm just blessed," Miller said.

Miller and the Tigers next host Bowling Green, Saturday Night, 7 p.m. at the Liberty Bowl.

The kickoff for the Tigers against Ole Miss on October 1 has also been announced. It's set for 6 p.m. at Oxford and will be telecast one of the ESPN family of stations.

The Rebels are tied with TCU at 21st in the Coaches Poll, 23rd in A.P.
