A serial burglary suspect was charged Tuesday after police said he hit two different stores in Hickory Hill seven times in the past 19 days.

According to police, Ricky Mclemore stole clothes Monday from a Hickory Hill boutique. But, this time he was caught on camera.

You can hear the alarm sounding in the background shortly after the owner said Mclemore was caught.

"While they were looking at the camera, he was breaking in the building," the business owner said.

The owner said he used a rock on one of the occasions to force his way inside the business. She said she is now making some changes after the multiple burglaries.

She is adding security cameras and security bars. Her windows are all busted up now after  Mclemore allegedly stole $900 worth of merchandise on just one of the many occasions.

However, the business owner said she doesn't believe Mclemore is working alone.

"He stole my cash register, clothes, shoes, jewelry, purses, accessories, and more," she said.

Charlie Knight owns a barber shop near the store where the burglaries happened. He said he put up burglar bars at his shop to keep the thieves out.

"Stay away from me and he's OK," Knight said.

Mclemore is facing a slew of burglary and theft charges. He's due in court Wednesday.
