The reward for Keila Ashford Freeman, a missing wife and mother, has been increased to $15,000.

Freeman was last seen on September 5 in Memphis.

Friends and family of the 29-year-old said they have more questions than answers in her disappearance.

Freeman’s husband, Randall Freeman, was arrested on arson charges, unrelated to her disappearance.

Alfreda Taylor said she last saw Keila Freeman in her driveway the night before she went missing.

"We just - she was on her phone and I just kinda waved at her," Taylor said. "But, I didn't get much response."

Taylor said the search for the missing mother seems to have slowed down, but a flyer is now stirring up new hope that someone will come forward with clues in her disappearance. The flier notifies residents of the $15,000 reward offered for information leading to the location of the missing mother.

But, Memphis police said the poster has been circulating for a while but it is not from MPD or Crime Stoppers.

"It's just been real quiet," neighbor Portane Gray said. "We have inquired about her missing. We did come down, myself and three other neighbors, and we were going to knock on the door."

Gray said she and other neighbors witnessed someone in the woman's backyard and what they saw them doing caught everyone off guard.

"What is it that they know about our neighbor?" Gray asked. "We approached the backyard. There was someone back there digging in the backyard and they did ask us would we please just leave the premises. They were digging with a shovel and digging deep with a shovel, so there was a lot of dirt back there."

Family and friends continue to search Freeman.

If you have any information that might help authorities determine her whereabouts, call 901-512-5592, or Memphis Police Department at 901-545-COPS.
