SOUTHAVEN, MS (WMC) -

Southaven police are looking for two suspected robbers that may be connected to more robberies in Memphis.

The two robbed one store in Southaven and attempted to rob another.

Police said the pair went into Subway on Goodman Road near Getwell Road on Monday. The man had a black handgun and demanded money. However, the employee ran out the back of the store and nothing was stolen.

Then on Wednesday, police said the two went into Rite Aid on Stateline Road and Millbranch Road. They got away with an unknown amount of money.

Nobody was injured in either incident.

After the Subway attempted robbery, the male suspect was described as 20-23 years old, 5’9 and 165 pounds wearing grey pants, a grey long-sleeved shirt, and a white, blue and orange cap with dark shoes.

The woman was described as 19-22 years old, 5’5 to 5’7 and 130 pounds, wearing jeans, a grey shirt, a grey-blue sweater, a wig and sunglasses.

In the Rite Aid robbery, police said they wore slightly different clothes, but the man had the same cap on and the woman had a wig and sunglasses on again.

Police believe the two may be the same duo that robbed several stores in Memphis.
