TBI issues endangered child alert for missing MO 13-year-old

GREENE COUNTY, TN (WMC) -

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued a missing child alert for a Missouri 13-year-old who may be with a 22-year-old man.

According to TBI, the Greene County Sheriff's Office in East Tennessee issued the alert for Harley Hopper of Salem, Missouri. Hopper has been missing since September 22.

Hopper was last seen near Lower Paint Creek of the Cherokee National Forest in Greene County. She was walking away from a car with Kenneth Dylan Whitehead, who is wanted by the Dent County Sheriff's Office in Missouri for her abduction.

Hopper has dark red hair and was last seen wearing a red and black flannel shirt and dark pajama pants. Whitehead was last seen wearing a light-colored khaki shirt. He is also known to carry a knife.
