MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A second suspect has been charged in the murder of an Olive Branch teen.

Dressed in a blue jumpsuit, Javaree Mason faced a Shelby County judge Thursday. The 18-year-old did not say a word in court.

After speaking with a lawyer he waived his right to an extradition hearing, meaning he'll go back to Mississippi to face charges of murder.

Olive Branch Police Department said Mason and Alexander Mitchell killed Melik Turner. Neighbors say the three were friends.

Turner was found dead in the front yard of his Olive Branch home Sunday night.  Police immediately arrested Mitchell at the home on Alexander Crossing. He's in jail on a $1 million bond. Mason was arrested Tuesday night following a traffic stop in Shelby County.

Authorities say the fatal shooting stemmed from an argument between the teenagers. Though what that argument was about is still unclear.
