MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A man is in jail accused of setting his ex-girlfriend's apartment on fire.

Jeffery Boyle, 26, is scheduled to be in court Monday on charges of arson.

Shelby County Sheriff's Office said Boyle intentionally set several fires inside his ex-girlfriend's apartment on Tall Oaks Circle.

Investigators said Boyle used to live in the apartment, but was recently kicked out.

Neighbors said they heard Boyle threaten his ex-girlfriend and saw him leaving the apartment just before it caught fire.

Boyle's ex-girlfriend was not home when the fire sparked. Nobody was injured in the arson.
