Federal Bureau of Investigation is hoping citizens can help give them answers in a child sexual assault case.

Law enforcement officials are looking for information that will help them identify an individual they have named John Doe.

John Doe is 37 years old and investigators believe he may have critical information pertaining to the identity of a child victim in an ongoing sexual exploitation investigation.

Videos containing John Doe first came to the attention of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in June 2014.

The data embedded within the video files indicated the files were produced two years prior, in April 2012.

In addition, the animated film "The Land Before Time" can be heard in the background.

John Doe is described as a white male with brown hair and was wearing dark-framed glasses.

Anyone with information on this individual can submit a tip online by clicking here.
