U of M gives away 150 free football tickets to first responders

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

The University of Memphis is thanking the city’s fire and police department with free football tickets.

The Tigers are donating 150 free tickets per game this season to be split evenly between the Memphis fire and police departments.

The tickets will be distributed by the department’s directors.

“We are honored to partner with the City of Memphis and Mayor Strickland as we honor these fine men and women,” U of M athletic director
Tom Bowen said. “This is a small token of our appreciation for their hard work and service to our entire community.”
