Biker Dad: Woman's daring cross-country ride is a mission to save other women

One woman, two wheels, ten thousand miles. Lauren Tratham has spent the last month criss-crossing the country on a motorcycle from Oregon to New York, from Florida to Tennessee. Tratham's calling her journey "Ride My Road." She’s riding to raise awareness about sex trafficking. She’s also raising funds for an organization that helps women escape and get their lives back on track. The Rebecca Bender Initiative is an online community that helps those women with support and services, especially those in rural areas who might night have access to other help.

Friday, Tratham rolled into town on her Ducati Monster that she says she's crossed the country on several times. But, this time the ride is much more important. She stopped at Bumpus Harley Davidson to share her story and her mission. “My passion for motorcycles, my passion for photography, and my passion for helping women. I was looking for a way to combine all of those. And this is what that journey is all about,” Lauren told me.
