MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A man is behind bars, accused of taking part in a robbery and shooting that injured a 17-year-old.

Early Tuesday morning, the robbery victim walked into a Citgo gas station on Sycamore View Road. When he walked out, three men walked up to him and pointed a gun in his face.

A 17-year-old was in the victim's truck and asked what was going on. One of the suspects turned and fired a shot at the truck.

One of the suspects pointed a gun in the victim's face, at which point the victim started running. The suspects started shooting into the truck with the 17-year-old inside, hitting him.

The men then drove off in a Crown Victoria. Officers found one of the men in a wooded area near Hotel America's Best Value and Suites on Sycamore View.

That man was later identified as Jerry Benson.

The other two suspects are not in custody at this time.
