Fayetteville, AR (WMC) -

Is Arkansas vs Ole Miss ever not entertaining?

The 12th-ranked Rebels and 22nd-ranked Razorbacks played another tight contest, but the Hogs coming out on top 34-30.

Arkansas was led by workhorse Rawleigh Williams III’s 180 yards on 27 carries. He never found the endzone, but QB Austin Allen found it three times through the air while completing 19 of his 32 passes.

The Razorbacks absolutely dominated time of possession, holding the ball for more than 40 minutes, limiting Ole Miss to under 20.

The Rebels had one last chance to take the game, but on 4th and 16, QB Chad Kelly ran for the first down attempt and fumbled the ball away.

While Kelly struggled passing the ball (18/39), he actually led the Rebels in carries and rushing yards with 14 rushes for 89 yards.

Ole Miss wideout Evan Engram had a monster game, tallying 7 catches for 111 yards, but it wasn’t enough.

Arkansas picked up their first conference win of the season and moved to 5-2 on the year. They’ll play Auburn, who is coming off a bye and is ranked in the top 25, at Jordan-Haare next week.

Ole Miss, meanwhile, likely lost any chance to compete for an SEC West crown with their second conference loss. They drop to 3-3 and face off with a revitalized LSU next week in Baton Rouge.
