PANOLA CO, MS (WMC) -

The man accused of murdering Jessica Chambers is set to go to trial June 2017.

According to District Attorney John Champion, Quinton Tellis will go to trial in June 2017 but the location of the trial has not been determined.

Tellis, 27, was originally scheduled for trial in September. Tellis appeared in court July 15 and pleaded not guilty to murdering Chambers.

Chambers died in December 2014 after she was found burning alive next to her car.

Tellis was charged two years later, in February 2016, with capital murder in her death.

Tellis was living in Louisiana at the time of the charges, where he was also facing charges in connection to the murder of another girl. He was extradited from Louisiana after he pleaded guilty to using the debit card that belonged to a University of Louisiana-Monroe student that was found dead in her dorm room. He was later charged with that student's murder.

Tellis now faces capital murder charges in the death of Chambers.
