MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Three Memphis University School students received a perfect ACT score.

MUS identified Andrew Douglass, Ray Zhou, and Arjun Puri as the students who finished the test without a single error.

Douglass is a senior at MUS; Puri is a freshman and only 14-years old.

"It feels good," Puri said.

Douglass said it's an exciting time for him.

"I was pretty excited. I didn't really believe it," Douglass said.

It's definitely exciting since one in every 1,000 people who take the ACT are able to achieve a perfect score. These students said it took a lot of practice and they are not sharing their secrets to success.

"Prepare. Summer is a good time to prepare," Puri said. "It's not much else going on."

"Keep working at it. Keep practicing," Douglass said. "Eventually you'll get to the score you want."

These scholars are not just good at their achievements in the classroom. Douglass is on the varsity tennis team and Puri is in model UN and math competitions.

Zhou was not available for an interview.

ACT is a standardized test that colleges and universities use in admissions.
