Shelby County Sheriff's Office released the mugshot of the man charged with shooting and killing a FedEx employee as she sat in her car at a gas station.

Memphis Police Department said Christopher Williams, 21, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder in the death of Royces Givens, 23.

Givens was shot October 18 at the Roma Mart not long after she got off work.

According to the police report, the suspect was caught on security camera walking up to Givens and shooting her multiple times before running away.

Multiple witnesses gave officers detailed accounts of the shooter, which led detectives to develop Williams as a suspect.

Givens' sister was overjoyed when WMC Action News 5's Chris Luther called her and told her that police had arrested and charged someone in her sister's murder.

Carleen Givens said she was afraid her sister's murder would turn into a cold case. She said she is so happy Memphis Police Department proved her wrong.

"Yes, yes, yes, yes! Thank you Jesus! Great, great, great! I appreciate Sgt. Kelly and the Memphis Police Department's hard work. Even though I did not have faith in them, they proved me wrong," Givens said. "Now I just have one more question and that question is, why?"
