MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

Memphis Police Director Mike Rallings is taking a message of safety to the schools.

He paid a visit to the students at Levi Elementary School on Tuesday to teach them to say no to bullying, drugs, and guns.

Rallings was accompanied by Sergeant Biggs.

In addition to teaching the students what not to do, Rallings also emphasized to the students what they should do.

Rallings talked to the students about the importance of obeying teachers and being a good friend.

One of the most important lessons the students took away from the visit is to tell an adult if they see a gun: "Don't touch; go tell."
