MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

A man has been convicted for stabbing his ex-girlfriend's new girlfriend, kidnapping his ex-girlfriend, and then holding the woman and his daughter as hostages in a standoff.

Reggie Horton, 48, was convicted Friday of the April 27, 2015 attack outside a bridal shop on Wolf Creek Parkway, near I-40 and Germantown.

The testimony revealed Horton attacked his former girlfriend and her new girlfriend as they were leaving the bridal shop. He told the two women he was going to kill them and then stabbed the new girlfriend multiple times, according to the District Attorney General's Office.

Horton then grabbed his former girlfriend and pulled her across the parking lot. He forced her into his truck.

He also grabbed his 18-month-old daughter and threw her in the truck.

Horton's truck was found at a Motel 6 on Sycamore View Road. When officers arrived, he barricaded himself and his two hostages in the room. Horton was taken into custody after a two hour standoff.

Horton was convicted of attempted voluntary manslaughter, aggravated kidnapping, and assault as a result of the attacks.
