BARTLETT, TN (WMC) -

The Bartlett Police Department is searching for the truck that belongs to the last man to see a missing liquor store owner.

The vehicle is a black 2000 Ford F-150 Extended Cab (step-side) with TN license plate 45YF92.

Police believe this truck was driven by Marcus Perry and used to transport evidence from Bartlett, Tennessee to Courtland, Mississippi. They believe it was specifically used to transport evidence on Highway 35 between Batesville and Courtland that shows Perry was driving the vehicle at approximately 3:30 p.m. on October 4.

Sanjay Patel was last seen on October 3 with Perry. Perry was a regular customer of Patel's at 5 Star Wine and Spirits.

Perry was found dead at his Bartlett home on October 11 with a gun in his hand. Perry was the last man to see Patel.

Patel is still missing. Police found evidence on Perry's phone that suggested that Patel is dead.

"As long as it brings closure to the family, that's all that matters," Vapor Wize manager Danny Nguyen said. "You know, hopefully we'll find out what really happened and bring justice to whatever happened to Sam."

Nguyen works next to Patel's liquor store. He said things have changed since Patel's disappearance.

"Everybody's been watching out for each other, making sure everyone gets to their car and stuff," Nguyen said.

If you saw this vehicle in the described area or have any information regarding this vehicle or Marcus Perry, you are asked to contact Det. J. Reames at 901-385-5529 ext. 2109 or Captain C. Page at 901-385-5529 ext. 2100.
