Snoop Dogg, others to perform at Memphis Music Hall of Fame ceremony

MEMPHIS, TN (WMC) -

The Memphis Music Hall of Fame induction ceremony will honor several music stars, but their will be even more stars on stage as well.

Snoop Dogg will be on stage to perform with and pay tribute to William Bell. The hip-hop star appeared in 'Take Me To The River' with Bell in 2014 and recorded a song with him.

North Mississippi Allstars will also take the stage Thursday night. The Grammy-nominated band will honor John Lee Hooker with their performance.

The Sheiks, Jack Oblivian, Michael Lington, John Lee Hooker, Jr., Tameka “Big Baby” Goodman, Jackie Evancho, Larry Dodson, and Cat Power will all also appear and perform during the ceremony.

This year’s Memphis Music Hall of Fame class includes William Bell, Hi Rhythm Section, John Lee Hooker, Charles Lloyd, Marguerite Piazza, and Sam “The Sham” Samudio.
