After a very public and painful split from his high school sweetheart, Pat Neely said he's excited for this new challenge and is happier than ever.

The country fell in love with the Memphis sweethearts when their show Down Home with the Neelys debuted in 2008 on the Food Network--a couple the Bluff City already loved.

Now, Pat Neely is stepping back in the spotlight as host and executive producer of TV's newest game show, Save to Win.

“The cooking show was amazing, and we had a great run, but one of the things I want to do in my new chapter is really expose all of my talents and personality,” said Pat Neely.

A Family Dollar store was built inside a Los Angeles studio for the show. Two teams of two battle in three rounds testing their product knowledge--blindly tasting, smelling, or feeling an item from the studio store to guess what it is.

“When I wake up in the morning and look in the mirror and I look at myself, and look at everything that's transpired, and I look at where I am now, I mean, who shined the light on Pat Neely?" he asked.

Pat says he never dreamed he would be this happy while starting this new chapter of his life after 50.

“Everyone has a right to want to make a change in their life. Did it hurt? Was it painful? Absolutely it was, but at the end of the day you have to get beyond that,” he said.

Pat Neely's show Save to Win debuts this weekend.
