Fans of scoring should have avoided FedExForum on Wednesday night.

The Grizzlies topped the Pelicans 89-83 in overtime after regulation wrapped up at 75-75.

On defense, Memphis dominated Pelicans star Anthony Davis, limiting the big man to just 10 points after he had been so dominant to start the season. Instead, it was former Grizzly Lance Stephenson who led the way with 21 points in a whopping 45 minutes.

Offensively, the Grizz shot just 35 percent from the floor, and under 30 percent from behind the three-point arch.

JaMychal Green led Memphis in scoring with 21 points on a strong 9-of-12 shooting.

Zach Randolph scored just 10 points, but with his 4th field goal of the night, passed Pau Gasol for the Grizzlies all-time lead in field goals made.

Mike Conley added in another 20 points. His backcourt mate Tony Allen, returning to the starting lineup for the first time this season, was an offensively liability. Allen shot just 1-of-8 from the field.

James Ennis, still starting in place of Chandler Parsons, was strong once again, scoring a double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.

Marc Gasol, like Davis, struggled mightily on offense. Gasol shot 3-of-18 and scored just 8, chucking up five three-pointers but draining just one. Gasol finished the night with just 8 points.

Memphis is now back over .500 at 3-2 on the season and have alternated wins and losses.

Their next tilt will come Friday night when they host the Clippers at the Grindhouse.
