A historic night for Donald Trump and the Republican Party as the GOP sweeps the House, Senate and White House. Details on the upset this morning on WMC Action News 5 all morning long.

There were a few problems in Shelby County on Election Day due to people going to the wrong address, extension cords and more.  There was also a delay in getting the numbers for the county because a voting card was left at a precinct. We have the results on local elections and ballot measures this morning.

The man who was seen on camera going off on a racist tirade has told police that he was offered money to get on camera and shout racist things.  He says he was offered $200.  He says the man who shot the video promised to blur his face. We'll explain another twist to this bizarre story this morning.

Two deputies stayed with a disabled man during a massive house fire.  They would not leave his side until they could get him out safely. A powerful scene played itself out in Shelby County. We'll explain what happened..

All lanes at the 40/240 flyover will reopen in time for Thanksgiving. It's going to be much better in just a few weeks. We'll explain where we are in the process.
