The Volunteer State has pulled in millions of dollars from the lottery in 2016.

The newest Tennessee winners came forward Tuesday after winning a $420 million Powerball Jackpot.

"Everybody up here has a heart of gold," new millionaire Steve Huffman said.

Huffman is one of 20 co-workers who played the lottery together and won the huge prize Saturday night.

"This is such a blessing that God's given us," Huffman said.

After splitting the jackpot 20 ways (and before taxes) each co-worker will get about $12.7 million.

The co-workers work (or at least used to work) for North American Stamping Group in Portland, Tennessee. Some of them plan to return to work, others don't.

"I'm very blessed to have friends like this," winner Tim Lyle said. "I hope to do a lot of good with it; just keep a level head, kindness."

"I feel like God has put a huge responsibility on me as far as how this money is used," Huffman said.

Some of the winners even said they are already looking at how they can donate some of the money to help the victims of the wildfire in East Tennessee.

The $420 million Powerball jackpot is not even the largest Powerball jackpot won in Tennessee this year.

A couple from Munford, Tennessee, won part of a $1.5 billion jackpot in January.
